In defense of the youtube video, Paula did say back in 2005 that this was an upcoming song for her album "Stay Awhile" so it still fits even though it's not on there tbf

FINALLY!!! So glad this has been solved!! The album cover that is shown in the YouTube video is not the correct album though. From previous notes, it looks like it was only released in the made for TV show 'Secret Lives'. I went to Paula Toledo's website and sent her a question to see if the song was ever released elsewhere. If I get a response, I will let everyone know.

'How Long' a track off of my upcoming & yet to be released album, 'Stay Awhile' has been licensed for the Alfred Hitchcockesque made for TV Film 'Secret Lives', starring Daphne Zuniga (Melrose Place). 'Secret Lives' will air on June 25th in the U.S. on Lifetime and will follow in Canada & in theatres throughout Europe and Asia. You will have to stay awhile (pardon the pun) to hear 'How Long' as it is placed in the very last scene...

In my other secret life, a few have mentioned they have seen my doppelganger singing lead and playing guitar for The Hermit...Well I must confirm the rumour - yes, it is true. I will be heading off to Toronto for NXNE and some shows back east with The Hermit but before THAT....I will be heading down south to LA to master my album! Yes, the day has finally come...No more secrets..

Stay tuned for more secrets to come...(if you're good).

Actually, there's a male and female voice, so it is a band, probably with 2 singers, so not boa.

I know Cranberries are everyone's first thought and whilst I hear the resemblance I can't help but think of Scottish band Camera Obscura. It's not them but perhaps this is a Scottish band? Singer doesn't sound convincingly Irish.
