"(Testcard 1/3) Found in a 1982 computer demo program, which refers to this as "Gavotte" and "Handel". I searched imslp.org for Handel's compositions titled "Gazotta", "Gazotte" or "C major" (that's what I hear), but did not find it. The computer musician can't be asked as he sadly passed away in 2018. Sample lacks only one second and one repetition :) still, full 0:47 in comments"

There are indeed some Handel Gavottes in C Major, but none of them really match exactly this melody.
