I was still hoping to find someone who knows the melody (the tune).
And hurray, it's you ! I have two Clodagh CDs, but this song is not on them.
It's just a radio recording in Radio Brno for a radio broadcast.
It was never released on a vinyl record or CD.
Dear miroVT, dear wurzlsepp,
Thank you for your interest and help, I am glad to know you here.
And please, excuse my poor English, I'm old and concerning English - I'm just self-taught.

(„Children of the Sun“ in English)
Here you can hear the whole song:

This is the Czech remake from 1964, I would like to know who sang this song originally. Perhaps in English or German.
Paul W. Gregory (composer) and "Children of the Sun" on the label of the record are just fictions, I think.

There are many such recordings in my country. I know only that they are originally from abroad, but no details. It was a local socialist practice in the sixties, seventies and eighties. To record foreign hits with the Czech text, but without foreign authors and titles. They mostly "stole" the melody (they recorded it from an outland radio station) and added the Czech words in their own mind...
It means that the Czech lyrics have nothing to do with the original English lyrics mostly. And for this reason only the melody (tune) is a clue (guidepost) to identify the outland original.
It is Vladěna Pavlíčková - „Sucho” (“The Drought” in English)
The sense of the text is:
It's dryness and your herd is looking for the water. I pray to the heavens for the rain.
It was recorded in 1971 and the birth certificate of this Czech recording says that the song is composed by Holland / Dozier !!! But I think it is only a myth. Here you can hear the whole song:
