UK Synth-pop it would've been. Possibly something to do with Roses, could even have been something that came up when I tried searching for Days Of Wine And Roses by Cole Toury. At the time Cole Toury wasn't listed in the Discogs database.

It's a very rare song and there aren't many copies for sale on Discogs. Came from an LP if I remember right. Didn't think there were any videos of songs from that LP attached to the videos section of that lp's listing, but the song you are looking for was one of the only ones, and may very well have been the only one from that LP still working.

I can tell you it's Synth-pop from the 80s, possibly the first half of the decade if I remember.
