BigTonino commented il y a 7min"My dad's tape is actually a self-made compilation recorded from the radio. On the top is written "Freeway D.J." and it starts with a remix of some '50s songs, followed by various '80s songs. I have already asked my dad if he memebers when he did that compilation, but he doesn't.
"There was a serie of compilations made by WEA in Italy called "Freeway" is a recording of one of them or a simple bunch of songs casually recorded from the radio ? -

You are the boss of your request, I will propose all the options so you can choose. :-)

If you don't mind make a proposal to close my request, please. I'm not familiar with the nomenclature on this website to name these kinds of songs. Conchi Cortés would be a valid artist, since it's the first official recording. But if that were possible, I'd rather leave it just as an Andalusian or Spanish folk song and attribute its authorship to each and every one of those "anonymous" Andalusian girls who proudly sang how their boyfriends complimented them ;)

This is actually the first time I've heard a recording of this song. I mean, just exactly how I knew it as a child! Same rhythm and with that typical Andalusian accent. I didn't expect those Arabic sounds though. But on the other hand it doesn't suprise me since Arabic music is one of the roots of flamenco.

In effect, 'Songs of Innocence' is the first official recording of this song in 1999 and Conchi Cortés was the Andalusian girl who puts her wonderful voice to this song.
A more detailed search about this album of folksongs by children from around the world, led me to the confirmation I was looking for.
"Toma que toma" is based on an Andalusian folk song. A popular rumba that Andalusian girls sang to their boyfriends.

Both answers are right but unfortunately they are covers and I'm looking for the original song.
From what I've been able to check out, the one by Ángeles Azules was released in 2014 and the other one by Karen Paola was released about 2004.
And I'm totally sure they are covers because I know this song since 1997! So the original song must predate that... Still a mystery to me :)
