  • "Some links were strangely edited, gonna re-write it:
An user called Mike Reese suggested Pathfinder: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Pathfinder/3540471035 as the possible band in this Facebook post: https://www.facebook.com/ianchriste/posts/10158728423238445 and this band only made a Demo in 1985: https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Pathfinder/Demo_1985/865343 and one of these songs, "Fountain Keeper", was featured in Metal Massacre VI: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfHrDJqoX4o Honestly, I think it could be them. And I found informations of the singer: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Rek_Anthony/95444 "Rek Anthony was born in England, and changed his name to Rik while in Breaker, then changed it back to Rek after leaving. In 1984 he formed the Canadian heavy metal band Pathfinder, and their song "Fountain Keeper" was featured on Metal Massacre VI. Pathfinder played throughout Canada for four years and eventually split up due to lack of record company support, which led to internal conflict.

Rek was asked to write the lyrics for several songs for the NWOBHM band Samson, and had five of his songs released on their twenty year reunion CD "Past, Present & Future," and one song on the CD "Tomorrow and Yesterday."

Rek has been involved as a writer and vocalist for many studio and live projects in New York, Los Angeles and London, as well as numerous commercials for TV and radio. He also performed vocals on several commercials for Batman Forever; The Video Game for Warner Brothers/Acclaim. He currently lives in the New York, USA area, and is vocalist of the Iron Maiden tribute band Sanctuary."
