"I heard this song in my sister‘s car in 2014 on a CD mixtape that was mainly geared towards children’s music. I have combed through all her CDs and I can’t find it and she swears she doesn’t recall it. It sounds a lot like Ingrid Michaelson’s voice. Maybe be a singer local to the Washington DC area. Each verse addresses a means of transportation and is definitely a children’s song because it’s all types of transportation that children would be obsessed with. Like tell me where all the big trucks go. Tell me where does the freight train go. Tell me where does the airplane go? As it rumbles through the sky. With it’s passengers and hmmmmmmm??? The pilot knows she’ll soon be home."

I checked Biter/Bitter as an artist name, this is the best candidate, but I can't hear them anywhere:

Now, what we're hearing sounds older than 1986., but it's not impossible. For "Bitter" as part of a potential song title - there's a lot more to listen to, and it should be under Funk/Soul and late 1970s or early 1980s.
