Okay, then just forget about my comment.
But back to the search: I'm running out of ideas, the possibilities are also very limited if the information we've received is correct. (It's also very possible that the information is wrong, considering it's been 12 years.)
So far, I've searched through quite a bit, felt like I've looked at all the songs titled "Nachts" or similar. I've also tried other lyrics like "Augen, Scherben, Gebein", "Durch mein Fenster", ... (The name of the song doesn't necessarily have to be "Nachts," even though it seems very likely).
I've also explored platforms for royalty-free music, also without success. I had the most hope with CCMixter because it's the only site the creator once linked. But nothing. WayBackMachine is also of no help here, as you can't search and can only access the main page.
Searching for mp3 files with the name, any blog posts about a new song from 2010 or so called "nachts," nothing.
Then i've gone deep and searched for the creator of the video to see where he might have been registered (maybe a bit creepy, but I'm running out of ideas), and again, nothing.
I've gone a bit deeper, into his website linked below, which can only be reached with WayBackMachine, searched on google for the possible other names of the creator i found, but all to no avail.
I just don't know how to proceed here, what else can we do? There are no lyrics anywhere, it feels like the song is nowhere to be found online anymore. I've asked on a forum, but no one has an answer. Maybe one of you would like to ask at the Liedmacher forum, but you have to sign some kind of contract to comment. It's probably harmless, but I didn't feel like doing it.
I know it's normal for Lostwave, and actually, we have a lot of information, but the community is way too small. If anyone else has any ideas what to do, please let us know. For me, the search ends there for now, it took way too much of my time, and as I said, I'm running out of ideas.

I also thought it must be very old and well-known. That’s why at first I’ve been searching in all the wrong places. In the end I stumbled across some other classical piece on Audio Network which sounded old, although it was modern to my surprise. So I did a search there. Luckily there weren’t many uplifting classical pieces with trumpets. It was also a big advantage to know how the piece starts. It allows you to quickly click through a list of songs.
Audio Network also has lots of old classical pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, etc. but they usually credit them. If someone just arranged it, then they are credited as (Arr.). So I guess Mottram and Bradley are the original composers and both are still alive ;)

I thought it was a classical piece ~100 years old. Is it really modern classical music?
