PokedodDemon commented 1min ago"Chris Booth (Ulterior Motives vocalist) is trying to make time for a Tik-Tok interview. In the following Reddit thread, I asked a question directed at Chris and whomever else is going to be involved with this interview to have them listen to the 1 minute 45 second sample of this song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xi_QZ1z4N3Y) and see if Booth knows anything about this song. Here's my Reddit comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/everyoneknowsthat/comments/1cjitro/comment/l2kv96u/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

"The person who recommended me to Shazam the song was the one who recommended me to use Shazam. They were the only employee there at the time I believemaybe you could try and contact an employee who was working there when the song was played, there's a possibility the person you asked wasn't thereohh, i tried too but it also didn't give me anything. No, they meant Shazam. I did try to identify the song with Shazam prior but had no results :(searching up this wizard app, I can't find any results for iphones nor androids. something that does pop up is this bird identification app called wizard. maybe they mixed that up for a song finding app? lolUPDATE: One of the gym employees said to use a song recognizing app named "Wizard" to try and find the song. I will try to find that app since I don't think it's on Android. I will let you and them know if there are any results that come up!updated*keep us upated!I will try that next time I goMaybe you could go to the gym and ask a worker what this song was, and provide the snippet -

"somebody just recognized the voice at the end: Gerard Walhof (VPRO
radio) which means this was a broadcast from mid 80's.
So I guess I made some version I forgot about 😉"

I recorded this from Dutch radio, most likely a program by the VPRO, I think I hear Luc Janssen at the end, a Belgian DJ who did some stuff for the VPRO, but I'm not 100% sure it's him.
On this cassette tape I have a.o. the following tracks, in order:
General Kane - Crack killed Apple Jack (released in 1986)
Michel Banabila - The Mandolin Tape, as we now know it to be called
Nick Nicely - On the coast
Severed Heads - Army
Bill Nelson - Finks and Stooges of the Spirit
"gloomy instrumental from the 80s" https://www.watzatsong.com/en/name-that-tune/706992.html
Bernd Kistenmacher - Unknown (this answers your second question, BlooDude2005)
Diesel - Sausolito summernight (1981)
The Residents - Mole Show (1982)
Trouble Funk - Pump me up (1982)
Sigue Sigue Sputnik - Unknown.
Based on the General Kane track this tape must be from 1986, but a lot of the tracks are from 1982.

"Hi Jamie,
Interesting… that’s clearly sampled from my track The Mandolin Tape (1984) :
https://open.spotify.com/track/5usj00EFW74iPYY9wHOxVR?si=bpbzFS-sRv-cy-awbe_kGw
Reissued in 2017 by Seance Centre.
Where did you get this from?"
I then reply with all the links I have, so the YT link, this WZS one of course as well as the Google drive. He then says:
"Would you have the URL from that site? I am kind of curious now 😉"
And then:
"funny… maybe I played those extra keys myself but I don’t remember really…
thank you Jamie!"
I have asked him if he released any music recently, and he sent me this, with a bunch of links:
"Yep
