"I FOUND IT! It’s from a duo Natasha’s Brother and Rachelle Capelli, who performed a similar song for the 1990 movie Nutcracker Factory, called “Always Come Back to You”.
“Together side by side”, the song similar to Always Come Back To You, was an unreleased demo from them that was used for teledocumentaries including the KNBC broadcast."
I have just asked if they have audio of this demo, and if they have any evidence, and also where/how they found out this info. Will update when I get a response.
