the genre appears to be deep tech house or synthwave, the lyrics are unintelligible, good luck!

    (follow up)

At 00:29, what do you hear him speaking? Another language.

In the HQ version (if we ever get that) you'd probably still hear gibberish.

Even with no music and only vocals (https://vocaroo.com/1dY2EEyNT17H) you still hear gibberish.

Hes definetly speaking a language close to chinese, maybe close to portugese too.

At 00:44 you only hear gibberish. So hes definitely signing in another language.

Probably, but some parts of his speech dont make sense at all.

I guess, the man singes in English, but with a hard accent... 🤔

The You bought you only you no one else can do, Lonely like i do love you is definitely wrong. There's no way someone could know what the singer if saying untill a higher quality version released. And the male singer is definitely speaking in another language.

The male singer could be singing the lyrics (such as what comes around goes around/what goes around comes around (as you said it)).

Basically, we have no idea what the male voice is singing. 🙂 Your text is good, coolguy22, there are some small mistakes, the most important thing is that it is correct "What goes around comes around". There are words in the lyrics that are hard to understand, but we don't have to go into too much detail, we just need to guess the title.

A long time ago, I was searching for the titles "What goes..." and "Take me higher", because it seemed that musiikki12 was hitting the right words, and now we see that's true. But now there are really more options that we have to take into account, as Amatieris said.  Like, what is this "Streets of love", sounds like "Love Parade" to me, but it could be anything.

Let's just hope it's not something too obscure and that the title is sung by a woman. 😁 With this audio from digitizedbyfulop94 the chances of finding this song have increased though.

  • "Sorry, I didn't mean that the song was written during the GDR era, but rather that it was influenced by the music of the time, which would support the Saxony theory. I live near Hamburg and it doesn't sound like the local accent to me.
    BobbyPNGMon, 06 May 2024 10:28

Hmm, I had a thought, that it might be from the direction of Hamburg because of the words "flüsterst" and "durch (mein Fenster)" at the beginning. He pronounces both with an ö or o (flösterst, dorch), if you understand. I know that from some people from that part of Germany. But that was just my theory, if your friend is sure, then it's mostlikely Saxon.

As for the GDR theory, I'm not entirely sure. The YouTuber wrote to me that it must have been a site for free music for videos. In his Minecraft Bill Gates video, he linked ccmixter.org below for his music, but I didn't find anything there. But the artist he linked to also has German songs, some of which are similar, I would say? But he mentioned that the site probably doesn't exist anymore in his response last night.

But so far, I've listened to a few songs with titles like "Nachts" or similar from the genre and from the GDR era, and it would fit very well, it's really difficult. Maybe the YouTuber also just doesn't remember where it's from and assumed it must be from the internet.
