  Ok so I found this song on an archive of The Weather Channel and the music used on it, and there - it's listed as "America Theme Song" and says the artist was indeed Kodak themselves. In order for it to be on that website it would need to have been officially lisenced by them, meaning this is "America Theme Song" by Kodak.   @Fetchthis While it's a big help knowing where the song was likely used, I don't think it was made specifically for that advertisement (especially considering that the version I posted was an instrumental not used in advertising to my knowledge). I'd like to find the real artist, as 80s commercials often lisenced obscure music without credit. I'll contact Kodak and see if they know anything about it. Thankyou!

  I found this in a list of songs used in an album that relied on samples, it was the only song title and artist that had quotation marks surrounding it (which weren't part of the link provided in the song name). The link was also the only one that was to a Google Drive file instead of a YouTube video or Spotify song.
