  What do you mean it's not my invention? Sure it wasn't me who found the original video but someone is now saying I have to credit an artist and that I have to make a proposal somehow even though no artist is credited. I based my last proposal off the info on the writer/producer of the demo that I was given.

  I see what you're saying, but in this case no artist was credited, only the writer/producer. I'll make one more proposal but that's literally all I can do. I don't know what else to do, or what else I can do, short of contacting David L. Stewart himself and asking him, if he's even still alive.

  Rules of cataloging Discogs releases are different thing. It's for easy maintaining, making quick tracklists from the info that is attached to the release, or placeholder info where there is nothing else available. Then you can use "Unknown Artist". 
  
  But where the song is taken to Watzatsong or Lostwave then it has to be investigated further, and many times these entries were actually updated with the real names after the successful identification. It is possible, so the case is still open even if it goes cold, you can't just close it with being "unknown".
  That's how I see it.
  
  BTW. OP probably had that Youtube link from the start, just didn't share it here. I don't think that he was satisfied with that info. Even if you convince OP to accept it, it's still not solved. You will just close the request.

We have to work out what scenario most fits the case we have here, in this case I think it may be the first one, that they may wish to remain anonymous; if so, we will never know who the main artist is, because no one will reveal their identity to us, and indeed they won't admit to making a track, if they made it.

  But if "Unknown Artist" is the main artist credited, there is no way of knowing the singer(s), unless we contact the producers of the record. We should actually be identifying the main artist(s) here, and that would be "Unknown Artist". Or at least, according to the title of that YT video anyway.

  The title of the video is
  Unknown Artist ~ What About You 1992 ~ Rare Unreleased R&B Soul Demo
  which would automatically mean that Unknown Artist is the artist. However, David L. Stewart wrote and produced the demo, so he is also credited, but not as the artist for this particular song, at least not according to the video's title. What I'm saying is, if David L. Stewart is credited for both (both as the writer and producer, and the artist), put his name as the artist name in any proposals you make. If Unknown Artist is credited as the main artist, however, then put Unknown Artist as the artist name. The vocalist is only half the credit here, as is the writer, unless the writer is also the main artist, which according to the video's title, at least, is not.
