NO4H commented 3min ago"I haven't found anything either, unfortunately. I asked in specific music groups, but the song doesn't ring a bell for anyone, although we all agree that it sounds typically like the 70s or 80s.
"I know I have done you wrong" or "I know I haven't done you wrong" is much more likely, in my opinion. I looked through dozens of "Done you wrong" titles right after you posted the request, because the song is awesome, but nothing.
It sounds like the late 1970s / early 1980s to me; of course it's ungrateful to guess. -

tedlewisfan commented 9min ago"i did some more looking into this song and found at the old speed i had, the bassier frequencies and cutoff was too low compared to similar 1920s acoustic recordings. so i sped it up until it was in line with other acoustic records. the new speed is hopefully correct :)"
