It's got a very 80's vibe (but could be purposely done that way). It's got a professional sound too, so that should make it easier to find.

@gymforma, can you let us know where you found the song originally? This should assist with tracking it down. If you had the file, were there any indicators in the name of it?

There is still no title so here a possible tip: Let's see if those of you who speak English well can answer. Can you hear any word that verifies that the singer is not english? I think this may limit the search range.

There is a slight accent, but there are no words I can hear that suggest he is not English. I'd say either UK or US.

I'd be very skeptical of the guy that said that. While the voice is similar, it doesn't sound like Huey Lewis to me. He has sort of raspiness to his voice that this guy doesn't have.

I think I found a good lead for this. I was looking through copyright entries for anything with "Knew It In A Heartbeat" and it came back with one result; A song written by Lenny Macaluso.

From what I could find, Lenny is a composer from Philadelphia who wrote a lot of music for 1980s shows & movies https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0531213/

He may not be the one singing, but it could have been written for a band of some sort for a movie?

I haven't been able to find any results online, but I think it's a promising lead.
