And here the same song explained by an Indian musician, also publicly awarded, who also runs a music school. I also tried to contact her for a good reason, but unfortunately she did not answer me. Here you can learn Indian music and lyrics 😚:

You can send me the recordings, please. If I had not been interested in this music myself, I would not have done this work. If you know then the total size (from me it can be also simply in Mp3), then I tell you whether you can send it at once or individually over my email address.

To make it short here: At Discogs you will find only a part of all ever published songs, no matter from which time.
And for this song I have discussed with pronounced Indian music experts of this direction. But I had to find them first, after I already had a very strong suspicion. We agreed that it must be this singer. But even with that I don't want to convince you. - If you find something else yourself, please feel free to start over here.

Whether it was sung by Laishram Mema at the time cannot be confirmed with absolute certainty. There are only a few entries from 1984 on Discogs. Some of the cassettes from IBH or Amarnad can still be found.

Amarnad-Cassettes: https://www.discogs.com/de/label/1504236-Amarnad
But no other copy of Geet Gunjan can be found there.

You have harassed me day and night, and now you have landed in my hands.
Now I know you very well.
Catching him by his both hands, she says, where are you going to run now.
(As for my loss), I will get all the butter (from your Ma Jasoda)
(Kanha says), I swear by you, I didn’t eat your butter, my friends ate it all
As he told this lie, he smiled
At this, all the anger of the cowherdess vanished and she embraced Kanha
(The poet) Surdas is blessed to describe this beautiful scene“

- "Geet Gunjan" from the cassette cover best translates to "Humming songs". (‘Gunjan’ means humming sound as of bees or birds.) You could also translate it more freely with "Bouquet of songs".
- The song itself is sung in Brijbhasha (Brij Bhasha), a Hindi dialect, which was the accepted language of poetry before the advent of modern Hindi language. (English Wikipedia spells it Braj Bhasha, which is obviously incorrect.)
It was most likely written by the Bhakti Kaal (Devotional Period) saint-poet Surdas (16th century) who was famous for his evocative poetry describing the child antics of Lord Krishna, the most popular deity of Indian mythology. In this one Kanha (the loving name of Krishna as a child) is caught stealing butter by the cowherdess, and he tries to wriggle out by putting the blame on his friends who have forcibly smeared his face with butter.
It is a non-film song (NFS) sung in a light classical style. The song title translates to "Where did you get by stealing?“
- There is less to read about the singer online than expected, although she has received several awards and is considered the "Melody Queen of Manipur", she is the first Manipuri singer ever to sing in a Bollywood film. (Manipuri is also an Indian language; some would also call it an older Hindi dialect. And Manipur is also an Indian state.)
But here, for example, is a very insightful article (interview) with her: http://www.e-pao.net/epSubPageExtractor.asp?src=features.Interview_of_Manipuri_Personalities.Laishram_Mema-Interview

The only thing I knew was that the record label was called "Amarnād", which I did not find much on the internet.
