  heyo. decided i'd drop by to share my own theory about where this song could have been from. it's obviously live, but it doesn't feel like some small indie concert to me. it seems to have very good production quality and sound quality, which most recordings of underground indie concerts would NOT have. i would suggest this could be from a talent show (ex, america's got talent or something similar). the reason i believe that isn't only the sound quality but because of the cheering - it sounds very organised, which is how it's done on reality singing competitions. so i would guess a contestant maybe had an original piece instead of a popular song to sing, so this is the result of that. i'll check canadian/australian/british records of singing competitions from 2005-2007 (mid 2000s) to see if ill find anything.

  im gonna go with no, and if thats the answer then i dont think even google can do anything about it. sometimes the admin can restore it after the 30 day period of deletion is over, but then they only have 25 days to do that before the site is entirely deleted from google's servers.

  Are you sure if you deleted the page? Because you didn't delete it manually, there's a possibility the data is still there.
  
  Google Pages data was migrated and rebranded to Google Sites around ~2007. In 2021, Google Sites rebranded and any old sites that were not manually converted to the newer version by users were automatically downloaded to the user's Google drive and added as a draft to the new Google Sites.
  
  If you still have access to the Google account that you made the Google Pages site with, you should check your Drive for any data.

  The style and vocals remind me of late 80's British indie pop/twee pop bands, specifically the band Heavenly came to mind. The vocalist of that band, Amelia Fletcher, has numerous other projects, so I skimmed through Heavenly's releases as well as her other bands just now but didn't find anything. Nevertheless, this could be a good area to search in.

  If we're trying to find artists with similar vocals (and assuming this is unreleased or something) the first person to come to mind is Sara Jackson-Holman, her song "Cellophane" reminds me of the vocals in the unknown song, like around 0:44. This is probably a big stretch however as her music style isn't very similar.

  If you're looking at Woodstock stuff only on YouTube I'm sure the song would've been found by now. If it really was Woodstock, I'd try different audio file hosting sites to search instead of just YouTube. Unfortunately I think this may have been a local festival or mic open live show, possibly by a European group due to the accent. Also check more than just '69 and '99.

  My thoughts:
  - Live. Recorded off a SBD. Drums can be heard in both channels and there's reverb on the vocals.
  - Sounds to me like a British/Irish band with Pop Punk influence, possibly Garage Rock.
  - References to alcohol. Maybe be used on RYM to narrow down searches. I've already had a look through and it's definitely nothing popular.
  - If anything, it might be an "unreleased" song only performed live or from a band that never put out an album. Even extremely obscure songs have their lyrics on the web (even if under a different name) so it probably wasn't specifically recorded for an album. The recording could possibly be amateur.
  - It's impossible to search for the lyrics because the search effort has been polluting the results (wow thanks yall) :-)
  - Sounds like early-to-mid 2000's or very, very late 90's.
  - To search, maybe look through RYM and find bands with similar vocalists, then check a site like db.etree.org.

  i rlly don't think it's live. the reverb's too studio-like to be live. also there's no cheering apart from in one part. plus the cheering fades kinda unnaturally, as if studio-altered. so i have very big doubts about it being live. 
  to add onto that, there's also no background noise, heavily implying it's a studio track.

  Ok but i dont know if this story is true, but in a tiktok post theres a video about this lost song and the caption says: "a mysterious cd was found in a abandoned warehouse and had 'JACKER" and 'DEMO' written on it. The man took it home and played it on the cd player and this was the song. No one understand the lyrics or even make it out" with comments saying it has both russian and english lyrics and one saying its either russian or very edited

  It's absolutely crazy to me that people are apparently checking Woodstock 69 recordings. This is very clearly post-2000. It takes some inspiration from stuff like surf rock, but it has other much more modern influences like turn of the millennium pop punk. I think the search can safely be confined to the 21st century.
  
  What's the funny little wooshing sound eight seconds in? Someone sliding their fingers on guitar strings (doesn't sound quite like it to me), or a deliberate sound effect (suggesting a studio recording I think - doesn't seem like the sort of thing you'd reproduce live)?

  Weezer never played this song live, there isnt a demo with the current singer singing, the demo is with rivers singing, and I am absolutely sure that it isnt weezer. The singers dont even sound the same? This theory is too far out and, I dont wanna be mean, but pretty stupid. And im pretty sure there arent any vocals like that on farther albums in the 2000s.

  I feel like I've heard this before, I used to be into the band Katzenjammer and these types of songs sound like bands that might open for them. In 2007 they played with a band named Charlotte and the Co-Stars, and while I think they didn't make this song maybe it could be in the same scene.

  I'm sorry that I can not provide any new leads. I am not a musical or lost media expert, but there are a couple things I would like to share:
  
  1. Let's not assume this is a live recording. Listen carefully to the crowd at the beggining, speacially to the way the screams fade.
  
  2. Let's assume this could be from other type of media: movies, videogames, TV shows. All these usually create music for some specific scenes, and hire bands or musicians for that specific scene. Sometimes the band don't even appear on the credits due to contract agreements.
  
  3. I agree with DeoffGeoff, this isn't a pre 2000's era song. Looking for this song in 90's music catalogues would be a strech for me.
  
  I know I probably don't bring anything new to the table. Thanks for all out there doing the search.

  I think this song was probably played on Woodstock or another old rock music fest so I think that would be reasonable to listen to recordings from them (this truly sounds like a live recording)

  I didn't know Katzenjammer before this search, but for what I have heard their style is not the same surf/garage rock as DFHAD/DWHN. Katzenjammer seem to use a more complex arrange of instruments, such as piano and medieval-like string ones.
  
  For what I can detect, this song has a Lead Guitar, Chord Guitar, Bass, and Drums. Plus the singer if she isn't playing one of the instruments.

  I think this song could potentially have ties to a band called Katzenjammer. There are theories circulating that the singer is not a native English speaker, possibly European. Given that the band formed around 2005 to 2007, it's possible this could be one of the members singing as she sort of sounds like one of the vocalists for the band. The members are Norwegian and all went to a music school. Their sound is a little more folk-y, but they do have a punchy song called "cocktails and ruby slippers" that is reminiscent of the high pitches in this song. The thing that throws me off though, is the guitar and bass. Hope this could maybe provide some ideas!

  Anway, that movie doesn't trigger anything to me.
  
  Over the weekend I checked over 100 DVD backups with no luck. There are the latest corrupted 10 that I want to try to recover somehow.

  I'm not super well-versed on Rasputina, but they play cello rock (i.e. centred around string section instruments - cellos, violins, violas), and their aesthetic leans more towards the historical and mythological. Both in terms of instrumentation and lyrics, this is quite different.
