  A cross between 'Audrye Sessions', 'Chevelle', some Muse anthem type moments. The sample does not hint towards a decidedly electro-metal-alternative continuation, but trust me on that. There is a stupendous emmersive riff in the middle as well. I'd love to support them. I wonder if I can load more than one sample for the same song....  I tried all the 'find this song' programs to no avail, and even lyric searches failed.

  I guess this song and group shall remain a mystery. At least we have it. It's like hiking up a beautiful mountain, and deliberately leaving your camera behind so that you can maximise the experience, and not the memory. If you get what I mean.

  they later changed their name to dear sherlock. this is actually findable through lyrics, you just have to put quotes around the search term in google, that usually finds better results if lyrics are already online

  Honestly, I have tried for years to find out who sang the song, AND searched every segment of lyrics that I could decipher. Really well done for identifying this, you are a legend!!! Now to see if I can find them on apple or somewhere....  THANK YOU!

  Yip. A little more head-banging than Muse but certainly reminiscant of their earlier albums. They have a scattering of songs available on Spotify and Apple music under the Dear Sherlock name. It's strange that they have not released an album, what with ALL the favourable comments linked to their songs. But then again, I have experienced stuff stranger than that....
