I think the musical phrase you suggest is most easily accessed as the 1st 9 notes of the melody right at the beginning of "The Fountain Scene" in the link you gave. On hearing this phrase in the various pieces I almost expect the rest of the melody to continue as in my sample, but of course it doesn't. It seems more like the sample is a rhapsody on a theme of John Williams adding a further melody of its own and the waltz metre. Might Williams be quoting/recycling from another of his compostions; is it ever known for him to do that? Oddly enough, when I was brainstorming connotations the sample had for me, in a desperate search for leads, I did write "Tom Hanks film?" because it has that mood. I won't confirm this yet, because the actual track must be out there somewhere, but thanks again for the lead, I really appreciate it."
