i saw a dm from "back to bed" sample and somone said that theres an mp3 file when u use inspect but idk how do find and mp3 fille in inspect element plus back in 2006 the max length for a sample was 15 seconds.

If Lorrain has not sent a complete, the three seem to have heard resolved. The owner of that music must have not published anything from the 2000s. Can you find it on Radio Garden? It is difficult to find daytime hours.

I think this song could exist somewhere on the internet between 2002-2007 kidna like Zoltan where it was found in daily motion (I don't really know the name of site) on 2008 maybe we must do a big investigation on TRITA

Well, if we consider that The Grand Event which was solved last month or the month before was from 2008, and this sample was posted in 2006, then that could either help us or at least give us a timeframe as to when the song may have come out. Or it could simply be a coincidence.

New account here, very interested in finding this song.

I did some looking following the lead that it might be a kids show and was unable to find any show that matched the descriptions people have given which had this song in any episode, though that was only a few hours of searching. Literally looked through wikipedia's "List of animated television series of the 1990s" list for multiple hours. I know, not great.

Also did some advanced searches of around the time period this was posted for all the lyrics, a few band and singer names who I thought matched the style... same thing everybody here has already done. still found nothing.

Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if this song really is from a kids show. The "something spooky like the shade of a ghost" part doesn't seem to refer to a literal ghost, I don't think, but just generally something elusive or intangible, if you know what I mean. I think the song has a more general sexual theme, a standard 80's rock love song or something. Maybe this is a demo from some obscure, unsuccesful 80's band or one from a later time period trying to replicate the sound? Of course, this all does contradict pretty much the only lead, that some people remember it from their childhood, though that claim is as of yet unsupported.

Also, checked the metadata and, for good measure, just popped the file into a hex viewer. found nothing of note. worth a shot.

either way, I'll keep doing searches for a couple days here and see if I can unearth new leads.
