Eddieheart commented 3min ago"I talked to a friend who knows a lot about him, and she agreed that it sounds like him just that she didn't recognize the song. From the sound of it, my rough guess is that it's from one of his 90s or 2000s albums. The style makes me think a little of Desert Rose, so it could be from Brand New Day—that album is either from 1999 or 2000. It could definitely be a demo, but I don't know if his solo demos were ever really released or found and uploaded, since his The Police (band he was in before he went solo) demos weren't preserved or looked after and are in very low quality online. But it being a demo still is a very valid idea.
