So, this was the last song in my Mix quiz (stupid name, but it was actually a mix - we had all genres, styles and decades, and the songs ranged from semi-hits to totally obscure). We started in May 2019. and I decided that 5 full years is enough. 😊
Let me tell you right away that there will be more quizzes, but I have to change the form, I got tired of the obligation to put 5 songs that I like every month - that was the condition - I didn't allow myself to post anything just to fill in the given number, because I wanted all the songs to have an IT factor and not be boring in their genre.
In the beginning, I had 10, 15, 20 songs a month, and once or twice 25, if my memory serves me well. That pace was unsustainable in the long term, so in the last year or two I reduced it to 5.
I still need to count those who participated in the quiz and make a list, to see who "won", Top 10, and so on. Of course, that doesn't mean much, because the quiz can't be measured: some you solved on your own and some with a hints, some songs were easy and others difficult, etc.
Juance had an answer in May 2019., I believe, and now in April 2024 ., but there are few who have been here from the beginning.
Everything you missed is on my YT channel "nanadensin" in Playlists - My Favorite Music - rare & unknown songs (along with other songs that I like from requests and quizzes of other WZS members!) and in my "Closed samples" on WZS.
As for the future quiz, after a little rest, my quiz will probably look more like Brst's (it won't have a deadline, it may be unsolved for longer than a month) and juance's (I'll post it when I have time 😁). Everything else is the same - big Shazamers cannot participate, moderate Shazamers can, but they must have a minimum of 3 difficult findings on the site so that we can fully trust them. 😊
