  Update! I had gotten in touch with someone who runs the Gerald Masters facebook page and he confirmed that was his song! he has no digital version of it as of right now, however he had let me know within the next week he will try and make it available on Youtube. If I get a message back about it I will make sure to link it on this page

  Sounds a little like Gerald Masters, who has a song called I'm Taking the Easy Way Out. However, I can't seem to find any clips of that song so I can't confirm nor deny it yet.
