WatZatSong, what's it for?!
WatZatSong is a website that allows you to quickly find the artist and the title of a tune that you have in your head. WatZatSong is free and participatory: it relies on the music knowledge of its members, who can, by naming your tunes, show their talent and climb up the WatZatSong ranking!
I am looking for a song, what should I do?
If you are looking for the title of a song, nothing could be easier! You only need a microphone!

Click on "Search" (at the top of the screen)

Write what you know about the song (its music style for instance).

Click on "Record yourself". At this point, just hum your song and record yourself with the WatZatSong Recorder.
Your sample is now available for listening and soon, several members will help you in naming your tune.
You will then be notified of their guesses. To confirm that a guess is right, you will be able to listen to a sample of the real version of the song on one of our partners' websites.
I want to name other people's tunes myself, what shall I do?
Simply click on "Guess". The list of the last samples posted by members will then be displayed. You can sort them according to different criteria like their presumed style. You can then concentrate on your best areas.
Then click on the player to listen to the samples. If you think that you know the song (the artist and the title) click on answer and be guided.
You will get an email when the user who has hummed the song will confirm or reject your guess. If you guessed right, you will receive 1 point which will help you climb up the WatZatSong ranking!
