Hello!! I've been looking for this song since exactly 2 years ago on the 21st.. There is a full verson of this song posted to youtube ( the link: https://youtu.be/vEN1JsJmoL8?si=tFPq1jusMUBN53HR ) and would love to start contributing to helping further the search! Steven, you mentioned a laptop where you had the original files of MPD that account12399 posted before, could you try turning on the laptop, searching the file and seeing the date of creation of the files?

There is more cassettes of course, however I would have to have my friend let me use his tape machine once again if I wanted to listen through the contents of those as I have sold my own tape machine over a decade ago.

I do not remember any details about how the song started or anything else. I do remember asking some of my friends if they recognize the band right after I recorded it. I think there was one or two more tapes on which I recorded music around 2009 - 2010 right before I ultimately stopped because by then tapes were already very obsolete of a format.

I do not recall ever listening to the first one (might have been too early for me?), "Unsure" I think does have a chance of being the right show name - it does ring a bell.

The show names on this website definitely do ring a bell. I am also fairly certain I listened to SURE the most, as it had the most variety and played non-mainstream music nearly all the time.

I heard this as a child while my dad was using this sound in the car or at home, he has a bunch of DVDs. Like 6 stacks. I'll go through them because I know this song is in there, I'll ask him too.

the entire tape seems to be running around 2% too fast, so "my pretty doll" is 2% too fast as well most likely

2 of the 3 existing recordings of this station (at all) on youtube are completely unknown bands playing live, that could explain the first 2 tracks of the B side

Some of the local ones which I recall were Hallam FM and Sure FM, we also had a local BBC radio. I don't think any of these unknown tracks were recorded from Hallam as they played chart hits if I recall correctly. For the earlier rendition of the tape (around 2000 I believe), I don't remember too well at this point, but it might have even been a pirate radio.

I recorded from various stations around the Sheffield area at the time. I will go throught the full tape tomorrow and upload both sides. Side one can easily be detected by modern software - no issues with any title. Side two contains four songs impossible to identify with software.

The song is most likely from 2009, as on the cassette tape it is placed right between two tracks released in 2009.

Find more information!!!, in the images that the page has there is a photo with the members of the band and I found Travis wood, guitarist and singer of the band Red Rocket who for reasons of fate (and it makes sense to me) is one of the members of Whosarmy. that on this page appears the face of Travis singing.

I do not remember exactly, but I can tell you side two was recorded over at least once. Some of these tracks may be from before I recorded the rest of the tape over, which if I recall correctly would be around 2000.
