This is played when Scusami ti amo cover appears. It's supposed to be taken from the B side, Amanti per sempre, according to the Discogs page of the mix.I can't find the song on the Vimeo compilation in the moment you mentionedThere's a very short snippet of Amanti per sempre in this album cover compilation/mix:

NSFW warning! Those are just album covers but still explicit. https://vimeo.com/26149122#t=2545s (45:25 - 45:33)
That's not a definite proof, but in my opinion, the melody is too similar for it to be a coincidence.Tony Bann Feghaly - Angela https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__Yh5Un8iv4 - It is a similiar song , unfortunatly I didn't found "Amanti per sempre on youtube" . I'm waiting to listen another time to this song on the radio I listen to , record it and put it there as a longer sample. -

Sounds like late 80s / early 90s Ray Obiedo or Lee Ritenour. Could be a sample from one of their songs (or from a related artist) ?

Heres an old TOMT post I made about this, it also contains more information. Yes this is a repost because I am quite interested in this song, I still think its an 80s/90s pop song (probably new wave or synth pop). I also think the post office had its own playlist playing because they dont use radio stations.
