  as to your other question, the static is from the radio  not from the tape, my deck wouldn't ever produce that much hiss and most of these tapes are of dubious quality sadly

  also i barely have any knowledge of cassettes besides them being like a metal strip covered in rust that records song (forgive me if I'm wrong) but do you know why the static bumps up a notch during the fadeout?
